Not so far off in Egg Harbor Township we were getting word of a crash involving an overturned vehicle on the parkway northbound near the black horse pike 322 and 40 but it sounds like thats mostly off to the side not going to be a huge deal for your morning commute. Still though watch out for the activity on the shoulder as you pass the a. C. Expressway there on the parkway. People say that when they discovered the woman she was alive. She was taken here to Temple University hospital. Shes currently in surgery. Were told though shes in Critical Condition. Well, this is video from the scene from around 3 this morning. Bystanders actually saw the woman walking in the 2,000 block of seller street and ran to help. She had a piece of denim tied around her neck. Now, there was a lot of blood. There was a 75foot blood trail behind her. When Police Arrived the victim collapsed on the ground. She has what appears to be a 12inch slash in her throat that goes from one side of her neck to the other so doctors are working on her right now at temple hospital. We dont have a motive for this stabbing. We dont have a description of a perpetrator or perpetrators. Reporter they also dont know who this woman right now. She is a jane do. Jane doe. Now east detectives are interviewing people at this hour. Theyre also checking surveillance cameras in the area, again working to find out her identity. New on action news, police are investigating a stabbing in Norristown Montgomery county. They say the attack happened around midnight near the 600 block of change street. Police surrounded this car in a nearby alley way. One person was taken to the hospital. Theres no word on their condition. More new video just into action news showing a house fire in south jersey that forced out a family overnight. The action cam was on the unit block of quasar court in Washington Township as firefighters checked out damage to the upper floor. The flames broke out around 2 30 a. M. The homeowners got out safely. Its unclear though what started the fire. The man accused of shooting a Philadelphia Police officer and his accomplice are awaiting arraignment today. 23yearold Scott Griffin faces attempted murder and robbery charges. Police say griffin along with 20yearold samir coyett robbed a man and then carjacked a woman at gun point on sunday night and they say griffin opened fire on officer James Mccullough during a struggle hitting him once in the leg. Mccullough gave a thumbs up as he was released from penn Presbyterian Hospital last night. It is 6 06. And happening today bill cosbys wife camille will answer more questions under oath in a defamation lawsuit. Camille cosbys deposition is scheduled to go on today in boston. She gave the first part of that deposition back in february. The lawsuit filed by seven women says that her comedian husband defamed them by branding them as pliers after they went public with Sexual Assault allegations against him. Passersby spot a woman walking down a philadelphia street with her throat slashed and a blood trail behind her. Reporter matt, shortly after she was discovered she was taken here to Temple University hospital. We are told she was alive at the time. She was taken into surgery where she is in Critical Condition at this hour. Police say that her throat was slashed 12inches across. Well, take a look at this video. This is video of the scene. It happened around 3 oclock this morning. Two people at least two people actually saw the woman walking in the 2000 block of seller street and ran to help. There was a 75 footer blood trail behind her and when Police Arrived, the victim collapsed on the ground. She had a piece of denim wrapped around her neck and she was bleeding profusely from her neck and these two witnesses then rendered assistance to her and put a fresh cloth around her neck and thats when she he collapse. Reporter at this point police dont have any motives. They dont even have an i. D. On the woman. East detectives are interviewing those people that did come to her aid. It is burn tag former commercial building in bridgeton. The heavy response had the action cam held back from the scene which is the 100 block of grove street. Now the building used to be a chicken processing plant. It has since been abandoned. No injuries have been reported. It will be a somber morning for new jersey students who lost their crossing guard to a deadly crash. Chopper6 was over route one and lalor street in trenton yesterday. The victims stop sign still lays beside a red pickup truck. Police say the driver struck and killed the crossing guard. Witnesses believe speeding is to blame. Just flying down the street. They hit him with no brakes and oh, my god, it was terrible. The first thing i heard was the loud noise a big bang and it sounded like a truck accident and when i ran around i noticed that the red truck hit him, must have knocked him like 200 feet cause he was crossing right there. I had just got done talking to him and he ended up way down there. The truck driver was put into a police car but at last check he had not been charged. The crossing guards name has not yet been released. Colleagues surrounded officer Jim Mccullough as the policeman drove away from the hospital last night flashing the cameras a thumbs up. The philadelphia officer was shot in the leg on sunday night while chasing a robbery suspect. The alleged gunman 23yearold Scott Griffin is behind bars. He and his alleged accomplice are awaiting arraignment today. Griffin has previously been arrested 14 times and will be in court just last week. 6 35.
