Ive got more details on these accidents in Camden County and right on the new jersey turnpike so we had an accident northbound on the new jersey turnpike approaching exit three and that one just cleared a minute ago but the southbound accident were getting more details and hearing its involving an overturned truck blocking the left lane as you head southbound on the new jersey turnpike just approaching exit three. So, a lot of people will continue southbound on the turnpike. Theyll get off and theyll go onto route 42, maybe come up into the city. Cant do that this morning or if you can youre going to see have some restrictions because we have this left lane blocked with this accident causing a problem. What we do know is that 78 east in this area remains closed. Were standing right by the entrance and you can see that Hellertown Police vehicle is blocking the entrance. Theres a number of cones set up here and as its gotten later and more people are heading off to work and school, we are seeing more cars getting diverted off of this area here. Theres about a 5mile closure and we dont know when the eastbound lanes are going to open back up. This accident happened right around 1 00 a. M. In the eastbound lanes of 78 near the hellertown interchange in lower saucon township. According to Pennsylvania State police, the accident involved at least two vehicles. There were multiple injuries reported. We dont know the extent of them all or the ages of the injured but once again, we do know the coroner has been called to the scene. State and local police and fire crews were among those who responded. State Police Closed 78 east as they he investigate and then of course they need to clear away the debris and the wreckage. It broke out at the temple of praise ministries on the 7500 block of river road in pennsauken. Fire crews focused their efforts on the basement. They got a handle on the fire in about 45 minutes. No reports of injuries. And well have a live report from the scene coming up in the next half hour. Investigators say this man was fleeing police when he struck and killed an innocent woman in Hamilton Township mercer county. Police initially pulled over 22yearold chandler heaviside on monday saying they saw him deal drugs in trenton. He sped off into Hamilton Township. Investigators say heaviside ran a red light at broad street and park avenue and broadsided 22yearold deja farrior quinones. She died at the hospital. Heaviside was arrested along with two other men in his a deadly double stabbing in northeast philadelphia is being investigated as a possible murdersuicide. The action cam wassology the 12,000 block of elmore road yesterday afternoon. Police say they found the body of the woman who owns the home near the front door. Her boyfriends body was in the kitchen. The latest happened on the 1800 block of snyder avenue in south philadelphia around 10 00 last night. Another deadly shooting took place in a rear alley of the 5800 block of fernwood in southWest Philadelphia around 7 30. And yet another on the 2900 block of north Howard Street in kensington two hours before that and in that case a verizon truck driver rushed the 33yearold victim to the hospital but not before but not in time for doctors to save him. On to a developing story in south jersey. A Church Community is vowing that god is going to get them through a tragedy. A fire that ripped through their place of worship. Now that the sun is up were getting a better look at this church. You can see the church looks fine but most of the damage is on the inside. You can see members of the Church Standing outside there including the founding pastor. Right now looks at if theyre praying. Theyre waiting for people to come over to help them begin the restoration process. Take a look at this video. This is a fast moving fire that broke out just before midnight inside temple praise ministries. It took about 45 minutes to get the blaze under control. Now, firefighters called a second alarm for extra manpower bringing nearly a dozen firefighters to the scene. When they the respond they focused on the basement on the church. Now, take a look at this individual he yo. This is video from the inside of the basement and what is left behind. Firefighters say tables and chairs stacked downstairs made it tough to maneuver through there to get the fire under control. Now, the grandson of the founding pastor and the fire chief spoke to us. This church is estimated to be 150 years old. Temple phrase ministries has been here for nine years. This church itself the building can be rebuilt but the church itself is the people, its the community, its the togetherness, its the camaraderie that we have and as we come together to worship god and thats all the church is, you know. Its a very old church. We had a fire here a number of years ago. But its stood the test of time and thats testament to the way its built and theyll be back in soon enough for sure. Reporter and back out here live again you can see that the main structure here looks fine. It looks beautiful. But you can see that theres shatter glass down there where the entrance to the basement is, thats where firefighters did have to make their entry. Again, thats where they do believe the bulk of the fire s theres no word yet on a cause. That could take several days but the good news is nobody was injured. And a standoff came to a peaceful end in franconia township montgomery county. S. W. A. T. Officers took a 54yearold man into custody late last night. He was barricaded in his home on Bartlett Court for nearly nine hours. The standoff forced surrounding neighbors out of their homes as well. Police say the man at the center of this was distressed armed and drunk and going through what they called personal issues. A friend of his called Police Telling them that the man was in crisis.
