Tightening regulations on the big banks and fighting to keep dark money out of politics. Democrat Donna Edwards, marylands next senator. Dave johnson has got sports tonight. Heres what we want to know. Hes going to tell us whether hes going to do what hes going do do in that old what, 25, 30yearold car of his . Is he go to pack his stuff on top of that old thing and make his way to where hes going . Thats an investigation were going to have. Last we checked the the 991 car he still has. But we will follow up. Trust me. Well get on the story. I think we could use a feelgood story. Alfred morris, it is. Theres some sadness in redskin nation that morris is going to the dallas cowbo teams on a twoyear contract. But consider morris journey. He set the redskins singleseason rushing record his rookie year after being selected in the sixth round of the 2012 draft. Its been a wild ride in the 1991 car that we think morris still drives. And while morris still has the drive, his numbers have declined every season. Since his Rookie Campaign and the redskins did not keep him off the free agent market. In fact 2015 marked the first season of morris fouryear career that hes not rushed for over 1,000 yards, in 2012, morris then a rookie dominant for the redskins, rushing for a franchise record 1613 yards en route to the nfc east title. He heads to the cowboys, the team that hes had the most success against. And the redskins general manager is happy for alfred morris. Good for him, hes got a home. I wish it was outside division, but thats okay. We made a decision inhouse and it is what it is. A very good person, he has had a good career. The way the nfl works, youre always trying to get better, trying to bring in younger and thats part of the process. You know what i hope he does a nice job, except against us twice a year. So morris has a new home. And Robert Griffin iii might be closer to looking on with the cleveland browns, rg3 impressed browns head coach hue jackson with his honesty and humility. Jackson said today that griffin admitted to him there are things he could have done better for the redskins and jackson added that griffin is open to improving his skills, including reading defenses and a quicker release. No word on an impending deal between the browns and rg3. The innocence of a child. Theyre not children, theyre young men. But isnt it the wonderful innocence when we use the term madness to describe a basketball tournament. The maryland men are still a part of. Theyre back if spokane over the wins over South Carolina state and hawaii and tr the next part of the madness, their tournament journey against number one seed kansas thursday in louisville. Enjoy the moment. Only 16 of us left. You know, well be on the national stage. Playing the Number One Team in the country. Want to enjoy the moment. The rest of us were happy to be here. Its a little before 7 00 on the 22nd of march. That means life right now is good for the wizards. It could be better. The wizards are still a game and a half out of a playoff spot. But as the hip kids say, the team is trending in the right direction. The fivegame losing streak of ten days ago now seems ages ago. And confidence is being matched by consistency. And now after last impressive 117102 win in atlanta. The wizards riding their first fivegame winning streak. Defense has made the difference.
