Police say the investigation began last week when a student at Dunbar Senior High School in northwest told the School Resource officer he was the victim of an active sex abuse that happened in the fall of 2013 and that the person who abused him was 34yearold Charles Allen young, who worked as the Schools CommunityDevelopment Director and helped with the track team. During our investigation we obtained an arrest warrant yesterday afternoon for mr. Young, charging him with one count of firstdegree sex abuse of a child. Reporter police say a young man had been reluctant to come forward but something had happened to change his mind. He heard that there may have been subsequent victims and he felt an obligation to come forward and he did approach one of the sors at the school. Reporter in a letter sent home to parents, dunbar principal Steven Jackson wrote i am deeply upset about these allegations. He went on to say on monday dunbar counselors and the dcps krisz team will be at our school to support our students. Young worked at the school less than a year. Jackie bensen, news 4 today. A teacher inappropriately touching girls at school. Jose pineda was first charged in october when a 12yearold girl claimed pineda touched her bottom. Since then two more girls have reported similar claims and a 23yearold woman claims that pineda touched her when she was in middle school ten years ago.
