An investigation revealed the university violated a federal law against discrimination. The u. S. Melissa mentioned at 9 00 this morning, road closures start here outside the Vatican Embassy. Once the closures start, theyll be in place for the entire three days the pope is here. Theyll also be parking restrictions in this area. We got to take these road closures day by day. The pope doesnt land at joint base andrews until 4 00 this afternoon. Hes going to make his way here later today which likely means rolling closures and motorcade along places like the suitland parkway and the southeast southwest freeway. Keep in mind, these are just the closures we know about. He could be unplanned, unscripted and go out and those will produce rolling closures. Just go with the flow for these next three days. Metro will open and close at normal times, 5 00 in the morning until midnight. Try to buy your smart trip card before you get to the station. Have plenty of fare on there. Dont want to have to wait in line to add fare. Leave your selfie sticks, bicycles, coolers, chairs at home. Tough to take on metro and cant take them into any papal events. Be aware of security. Crews could search any bag you bring on the train with you. A lot of things to remember. If you use marked trains or buses, tomorrow and thursday the administration will add capacity to select trains on camden and brunswick lines, getting another car to handle all the extra riders. 6 56.
