The school would not give any details about the threat or name the site, but did say that the threat could be linked to isis. Law enforcement will have an increased presence around the school tomorrow. Roanoke county police find no northside high school. According to a Roanoke County spokeswoman an anonymous phone call was received at the high school on wednesday afternoon. Concerns over the threat spread to social media. The School Resource officer investigated and didnt find a credible threat. Two police cars patrolled the entrance until about 10 this morning. Parents were notified shortly after. The superintendent excused all absences for the day. A spokeperson for the School System says. The district handles every incident on a case by case basis, and that their first concern is the safety of its students. New river valley is under a criminal investigation.
