that tallied up to six to 10 inches around here. it will be tough to match that one. biffle sunset in many areas with high clouds overhead. at rdu, temperatures down to 46 after hitting 51 today. 38 south hill, 42 rocky mount close to 60 there today. upper on the midwest, toward memphis, 63. 64 dallas. some areas south of the triangle might get to the 60's. the weekend, many of us will be 60 or higher. a lot of high clouds around. they will then out later on tonight. they are not producing any rain. there is snow here causing a few problems in the upper midwest. and a front attached to that will not have much moisture. but the one behind it on wednesday will have some rain. certain not -- so tomorrow, a nice, mild day. low mid 30's, about 30 or so roxboro. heading out tomorrow morning, skies should be fairly there -- should be generally fair. by the noon hour, very mild 61 in fayetteville. a lot of melting will continue tomorrow. snow and sleet pack is still pretty dense, about 10 inches of snow. it'll take a lot to get rid of. now we jump ahead to wednesday. and it starts out just after midnight fairly dry. in the morning hours, the rain comes in. it will be fairly light. but it will be cold, too. notice our temperatures only in the 40's during the day with often on light rain. but it moves up pretty quickly. and the question is for thursday. should be dry wednesday night. an area of low pressure off the coast. the trend has been further east. but he could easily go back further west. there may be some rain on thursday and it could begin as a wintry mix briefly. but those are a lot of ifs. anything at all like what happened last week. 50 tomorrow, much cooler wednesday. 46 with some rain, mainly light. thursday, slight chance of rain mainly east of the tribal. we will watch those trends. then check out the weekend, 68 or close to it on saturday and maybe some mid 60's by early next week. it will be like december work outs will -- where gets warm and stays warm
