Reporter the Postal Service declined on camera interview but spokesperson told us under limited circumstances a carrier may use a customers driveway when it is safe to do so to deliver a large parcel or number of parcels to the door. It doesnt look like that was the case here. When the male carrier sips from a beverage can while dropping off a few letters. The Postal Service went on to say, at no time should a carrier drive over or on to a customers lawn or landscaping stones and the usps spokesperson told fox 29 investigates local management has directed employees not to access this customers driveway under any circumstances. So you can understand that when somebody is out there that is involved in the shall shooting of a Police Officer theyre going to quadrant this off. Lights, blaring police lights. Police tape you got the police wagon out here everyone is out here. We do know that an officer was shot in the leg. That officer was able to return fire and hit a suspect. But while that officer was taken to the hospital, theres another suspect thats on the loose right now. So one suspect was shot. Another who is on the loose right now. A lot of people looking outside of their doors and wip dose. We heard gunshots. Theyre not sure exactly what is going on here. They hear the helicopters flying over. They see flashlights from Police Officers. They see some of the top brass out here trying to find out whats going on. But 52nd and master has been shut down virtually here with the Police Activity thats taking place all of the lights and all of the activity we know an officer a bike Patrol Officer was responding to some sort of situation. That officer was shot in the leg. That officer taken to the hospital. That officer was able to return fire and hit a suspect. That suspect was taken to the hospital. But theres one more suspect.
