Heres off ramp from the east and westbound side probably a lane blockage but all of the activity is going to impact the on ramp to go west at downingtown. A father is in serious condition after a man storms into his frankford home and started shooting. Police say that it happened late last night, along the 1900 block of pratt street, and right in the hid will of a block of row homes. That is where steve keeley is, steve . Reporter yeah, as soon as police got the here they realized these Home Invaders knew what house and why they wanted to hit and what they expected to get when they hit it. The second perpetrator fled the scene, on foot, and last seen running west in the 1900 block of pratt street. He is described as a male, tall, thin, wearing all dark clothing. So, preliminary information is that this was a Home Invasion robbery where the perpetrators were met by the 27 yearold home owner who had a gun of his own. One of the perpetrators, at least one of the perpetrators, firing a shot striking the home owner. Home owner returned fire striking and killing one of the perpetrators. Fortunate liz along the 1900 block of pratt street where our second perpetrator fled the scene, we did find, several exterior surveillance cameras. It is what happened once Police Arrived that caught Police Commissioners attention and one of his officer is seen on camera throwing blows at a young girl dragging her and pulling her by her hair, Lauren Johnson is outside round house were you able to catch commissioner ross. Reporter i was, alex, and commissioner says it is a piece of video we dont see what has him, explaining the situation a little bit. He calls it ugly from start to finish and they are looking for more video to find out exactly what happened because therapiesing it together with different cell phone video camera. When they arrived 30 or 40 people mainly females were fighting in the streets on top of cars, throwing fists, swinging bats and sticks. One female officer in particular was trying to hold a juvenile back from the fighting crowd when she continued to force her way back past the officer causing two to push and shove each other. Commissioner ross who says was in the the scene in the video was young lady smack the officer so hard in the face her glasses are knocked off. The officer is now off the streets does have bruises from that brawl and when asked what his officer could have done differently in anything heres how he answer that had question. The videos, this morning that poured in the news room yesterday, a street fight in West Philadelphia, mainly involving females caught on cell phones and circulating on social media. It is what happens once the Police Arrived that had our Police Commissioners attention certainly when he saw he first saw this, he was very angry. The scene was chaotic from the moment they arrived, 30 to 40 people mainly females fighting in the streets, throwing fists swinging bats and sticks. Female officer trying to hold a juvenile back from the fighting crowds, watched, was push and shoved before the two women were involve in the physical brawl. Commissioner ross says what is not seen in any of those videos is young lady smack officer so hard in the face that her glasses fly off. She said young lady admitted to it in custody. You can see his officer force that young lady on to the ground, and the two exchanged punches. Im not trying to justify anything. In this case rarely do you get incident where a Police Officer and person taking in identical custody but they tell an identical story.
