We met 47 year old, glenn, during remote show, in doylestown, that was back in may. What we did not know with a cents that he was working on a book about ac quadriplegic father being called we can go anywhere. He met his wife, monica, ten years after his accident. They got married, and hoped for a family. And with the help of fertility specialists, their wish came true. Elena was born six years ago. Unable to move from the chest down, his wife strapped a baby carrier to him, so that he could hole her, on his own. When it was time to walk, she learned by holding onto his wheelchair. They came to see his wheelchair as the gateway to great adventure, sometimes, it pretended to carriage, other times, she holds tight to her father, for their own kind of dancing. How i would interact with her, be able to get on the floor, and you know, play with her physically. Thats the great thing about kids, they are a pure heart when they came in this world, she just saw me as dad. It amazed me how she quickly adapted to my chair, it was just part of me. So when she wanted to play, i became her horse, she would just make up games, you know, with me spinning around, or what have you, or when mom was taking a nap, play spitballs, go hunting in the living room. Writing it, what did you learn that you didnt know . Well, i guess when i finished the book, it was just a keepsake, i wrote it for her. What i learned when i finished was that maybe other people could benefit. Because it took me back to, like you said, before all this happened, and i realize just how fortunate i was, and how far i had come. And i thought, well, if there is anybody newly injured, or has been in a wheelchair, and has a disability, and facing fatherhood, you know, maybe this is something that can give them hope and realize that your heart and your mind can take awe lot further than your body ever could. Wow. As you go, through the book, i was looking at it, different scenarios, the Different Things you can imagine. Elena we were talking, going through oh, princess in a carriage, or on a stroller, stroll hershey needs to go far. So you see all of these adventures that you go on, and which one was your favorite, elena . Spinning in the mall. She likes going to the mall, yes. Now at six years old, monica, talking about going to the mall . You know when she gets to be a teenager it will be something. Those rides are a lot of money. If she wants to go on every single one of them, and this is free. Take us back to seven years ago when you had to make the decision to have a child. Is that so . No. No, we just want add kid. We new it would be tough but the decision wasnt. It was something he always wanted. He had fear he would never be able to be a father once he was injured. So we thought were going to make this happen, whatever it takes. And it took a while. So where did you meet . On line actually. Yes, he had a picture of himself just from here to here, which is very smart on his part. How soon did he let you know he was in a chair . Pretty soon. We emailed back and forth couple of times, then he mentioned it. Did you have trepidation or anything . Little bit. At first. I said oh, my goodness, i i dont know if i ever even had a conversation with someone in a wheelchair let alone dating him. But he is just what he wrote on his profile, so inspirational to me, i felt like i want some of that, i want it to rub off on me, i was in a place i felt his heart. And hes not bad. So true. So now you can tell they have a special bond. I know. Amazing. When you look at them and their relationship today . I see the best father ever. I mean, he spends so much time with her, more than, you know, most fathers do. And he has taught her so much. It is different when you show each other, do something, versus tacking them through it doing themselves. She knows thousand do a lot of things because he talks her through it. And she is the hands, and hes, you know, the brain, and they make a great team. Wow. Okay, linda, over to you. Man, if somebody came to me, could you illustrate this very special book. Very special.
