Live in frederick im mola lenghi for wusa9. Wusa9 has learned a man linked to four armed robberies recently beat a murder rap. Under arrest in custody is 21 yearold daequan douglas of landover. Prince georges county police say the four robberies took place between january 15th and february 2nd. In each case the victims were walking on Garrett Morgan boulevard near fedex field and the morgan avenue metro station. Douglas approached victims, took their belongings. None of the victims were hurt. Douglas was one of two suspects arrested in the may, 2013 Home Invasion and murder of an army veteran in seat pleasant. The woman in question was taken to the Fairfax County jail last week charged with assault, but tuesday deputies were trying to transfer her to the alexandria jail. That is when the Sheriffs Office says she resisted the deputies and was tasered. Then she was restrained they say and checked by on scene medical staff and moved to another part of the Fairfax County jail, but that is when she suffered that medical emergency and was taken to the hospital. Tonight a cheverly maryland man is in custody after being accused of threatening to shoot his wife at the Capital Building where he works and shoot anybody who got in his way.
