Wells says the Fire Department suffers from mismanagement and a record of failure and if he is sworn to the case of cecel mills. Mills had a heart attack and collapsed across the street from a d. C. Fire house. He died at the hospital and an internal investigation said firefighters knew he needed help, but none came out to do it. A spokesman said councilman wells is pulling a shameless political stunt. Wells is running for mayor and mayor gray, of course, is running for reelection. And they are two in a very crowded race for d. C. Mayor and it is about to enter the final month and last night, no candidate emerged with the coveted endorsement from the metropolitan Labor Council. Incumbent has doubled the Union Endorsement of his challengers according to his campaign manager. But this is about a most coveted endorsement that got away last night.
