LINGAYEN, Pangasinan – The Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) here has recorded no casualty and less damage to agriculture even with the monsoon rains enhanced by Typhoon Fabian as of Monday.
In an interview, PDRRMO emergency operations center manager Shallom Balolong said portions in some 40 barangays in the province were flooded ranging from half to four feet deep flood water level.
Balolong said the flooding in portions of the 18 barangays in Dagupan City was due to high tide.
Flooding was also reported in portions of two barangays in Sta. Barbara town, three in San Fabian town, seven in this town, eight in Calasiao town, and two barangays in Mangatarem town.
