U of S to expand College of Medicine campus in Regina

Currently, the entire 100-person medical school class starts the four-year degree in Saskatoon and then roughly 40 students per class continue their studies at Regina General Hospital and on the Regina campus starting in their second year. As of August 2022, first-year medical students will be able to start their studies at the Regina campus and finish their entire degree there.

“The Regina campus is a unique model for our province and we are proud of it,” Saskatchewan Health Authority chief medical officer Dr. Susan Shaw said in a statement.
