Verulam residents fume after a week-long water cuts

A local councillor says a work stoppage by contractors is to blame for the water supply problem in a Verulam community.

Trenance Park residents say they've had to make do without running water for more than a week.
Dravina Ramai says the residents were approached by a businessman who was willing to sell then water. "Unfortunately, we don't have the funds at the moment, we are all strapped for cash."
She's appealed for help as the country observes National Water Week. Meanwhile deputy councillor for Ward 59 - Christopher Langa - says he'll be meeting with residents today.
