CHATHAM, Va. â Heath Landscaping has served Pittsylvania County for 22 years, but hardscape design and irrigation installations alone weren't enough for owner Jerry Heath of Chatham. Monday, Heath opened a bulk landscaping supply storefront on Highway 29 at Tightsqueeze.
"He's owned this land right here a long time," brother-in-law Lesley Shelton said as he motioned to the storefront, which sits on an expansive lot across from Perkins Tire. "He was undecided what to do with it, but he's finally decided to put a business in here. If he gets tired of this landscaping, he's got something else he can step back to."
