Warren County Health ready to vaccinate elderly against COVID-19

WARRENTON — The Warren County Health Department will begin vaccinating anyone who’s age 75 and above the week of Jan. 19, and is taking reservations from those who want the first of the two-shot series to protect themselves from COVID-19.
Those eligible to get the vaccine in this round can call the Warren department at 252-257-1185 to make an appointment, officials said.
Up to now, Warren County Health, like its counterparts elsewhere in the region, has focused on getting the vaccine to frontline health care workers involved in treating COVID-19 patients, along with the staff and residents of long-term care facilities.
