This Surveillance Video shared exclusively with nbc 10 shows the frightening moments when a man armed with a rifle stormed out of a barbershop and opened fire in a philadelphia neighborhood. Patrons fled the shop on e street in kensington with kids and took off in cars. Barbershop employees tell us the man came into the store yesterday with a box and sat down as if he was going to get a hair cut. He then took a large rifle out of the box, ran out of the store and began shooting. The suspect killed one man and wounded two others. Neighbors who did not want to show their faces on camera tell us the shootings in the city are getting out of control. No words. Scary. Especially when youre raising a family here. We have kids on this block. A lot of people. The video shows the suspect wearing a white shirt and blue shorts, rounding the corner and leaving the scene. If you recognize this man, call police. Now to new information on the breaking news that were following this morning in philadelphia. One person is dead, three others are hurt in a crash in the citys society hill neighborhood. Jesse gary is live on the scene at 4th and lombard streets what have you learned in the case . Rosemary, were still waiting for investigators from the Accident Investigation Division to talk to us. Police have taken the family of the person who died in this crash, they have taked them aside and taken them down to about 4th and south street. Theyre talking to them and trying to explain what happened here. You can seat vehicle involved in the crash is still on its side. We do not see any skid marks on lombard just past 4th street. The vehicle was traveling west on lombard. As it passed fourth it looks like it clipped a tree, knocked the tree down, went airborne, went on its side. One person inside was killed. Three others were taken to an area hospital. Were trying to get an update on their condition. This happened just before dawn in society hill. And the family, as i said, arrived minutes before we last joined you. A very, very emotional scene as you can imagine. One family lost a child in a car accident, and they dont know why, at least not yet. As soon as we get more information, we will join you again and update you. Nbc 10 was on the scene at levick street and sommer dale avenue. The victim told them he never saw the shooter and he was not robbed. Were working to find out more information about the victims condition. Philadelphia police are investigating a shooting in west philadelphia. They say somebody shot a man just before 11 00 last night at 60th and locust streets. Firefighters were busy overnight extinguishing flames at this fire in north philadelphia. The blaze began in a vacant house at broad and york streets around 1 00 this morning. Nobody was hurt. We have new information in the murder of a man found stabbed in the backyard of a house. Philadelphia police are holding three women in the case. Investigators say that the victims sister found him in her backyard on oakford street in grays ferry early yesterday morning. She thought he was sleeping but somebody stabbed him to death. Police are trying to determine if its a case of domestic violence. Pennsylvania attorney general Kathleen Kane is now a criminal defendant and she is rejecting a call from Governor Tom Wolf to resign. Kane ignored cameras and reporters questions on the way to her First Court Appearance in Montgomery County yesterday. A judge set bail at 10,000 unsecured, which means kane did not have to post money in order to be released. She just had to provide her signature. She surrendered to detectives days after being charged with perjury and abuse of power. Yesterday police fingerprinted kane and took her mugshot but kane did not enter a plea. Her next Court Appearance is august 24th. Today is military day at eagles Training Camp. Its also the second and final practice open to the public. A Deadly Police shooting in arlington, texas is attracting some national attention. Loved ones and friends held a church vigil last night for 19yearold christian taylor. A Police Officer who answered a burglary call at the dealership shot taylor during a struggle after the crash. The officer is now on leave. The old male bottle nose dolphin beached himself around noon yesterday and died a few hours later. The mammal was in the south river on the border of old bridge and sayerville. Accident Investigation Division officers say speed played a role in this crash. You can see the vehicle is still op its side in the background. That appears to be one of the parts and perhaps one of the occupants in the car at the of this accident. This happened earlier this morning. Investigators say a black toyota four runner was speeding rest on lombard street as it crashed 4th street it hit a hump in the street, bounce in the air, came down hard. Thats when the driver lost control. The vehicle swerved to the right on to the sidewalk, hit two trees, and flipped. The driver was not wearing a seat belt. The only person in the vehicle not wearing a seat belt. That person was partially ejected. The vehicle then rolled on to him and he was killed. Pronounced dead at the scene. Three other people inside declined medical treatment. Theyve been sent home with their families. They were all college friends, about to head back to school for the upcoming smemester. They were heading home, speeding along lombard street. Im told that lombard will reopen soon. Investigators say the accident scene is off on to the sidewalk, so theyre confidence they can open the street and not compromise the scene. But obviously a very difficult morning for one family. Both state police and Mercer County sheriffs deputies were on the scene and recovered a weapon. Deptford Township Police tell us they found the man in the house yesterday. He had shot himself. Hes now in the hospital. Officers spent several hours trying to convince him to come out.
