And this afternoon were on track with more records today. 76 in philadelphia, 70 for the suburbs and new jersey where even the Lehigh Valley and delaware, look at that 77 degrees this afternoon. The coolest spot will be the jersey shore, but youll get some sunshine too and into the 60s in the afternoon. Ill break it down hour by hour when im back in ten minutes. But first lets see whats affecting the roads. The blue route and our cameras around schuylkill expressway, onramp is where were watching to start. Coming from the northbound side of the blue route heading to the schuylkill expressway were watching that construction. And speaking of the schuylkill were watching construction there, actually westbound from south street to about the vine street expressway. So just missing the cut off here for this 11 minute drive time with speed there in the 60s. Watch for one lane lost. The wild temperature swing could cause problems for your morning commute. More potholes have been popping up across the area. In fact, work crews have filled 500 on lincoln drive alone since the beginning of the year. Nbc 10s matt delucia joins us live. Crews were ought in this area by gypsy lane just a few days ago, and why are all these potholes opening up now . Well, you can blame it on the fall. And the city says they will be out aggressively working they say to fill as many as they can as fast as they can. But if you do use the roads then you should not be surprised to see more of these potholes in the coming days and weeks. Right now its about trying to keep up.
