NESTLE workers are on strike.
The workers in Hammanskraal, Tshwane, started protesting on Tuesday, 4 May, accusing the company of belittling them.
National Association of South African Workers general secretary Mpho Morulane said employees who had been with the company for more than 20 years were still under labour brokers.
He said workers were demanding a R20 salary increase and to be permanently employed.
“The level of exploitation is high when they work under labour brokers.”
