Marshal is shot and killed and two other officers were wounded as they served an arrest warrant in harrisburg, pennsylvania this morning. One is with the Harrisburg Police force strikingim and that suspect was injured. The mayor of harrisburg says no words could advocate the sadness we feel at this moment e ans we contemplate yet another loss of life in the line of duty. All right close toward home now more than a dozen people were hurt when a fast moving fire engulfed their Delaware County home at night. The flames poured from the second floor of the home when firefighters battled the blaze on the 3100 block of rodney avenue in upper chichester. Nine people were hurt in the fire. Jeanette reyes joins us from the scene now. Reporter the owner of the home died earlier this week and family members as well as extended family members were staying in the home last night. And this morning its a complete loss as of fire engulfed the property this morning. At 4 00 this morning Upper Chichester Fire Department was called to the 3100 block of rodney avenue. The fire comes from the rear basement area of the structure. It took firefighters an hour and a half to get the intense flames under control and left the scene and then came back after smoke came billowing out of the home because of hot spots. We found that nin occupants escaped the fire and all went to the hospital for smoke inhalation. Extended family members were staying in the home after attendinghe funeral yesterday. That is the shame they buried a loved one yesterday and then today they got to deal with this. Where they are going to go when they get back from the hospital . Is some occupants later returned from the hospital and stood outside in the frigid cold as therded up. It could happen to anybody and i cant imagine what they are going through right now. The homeowner leaves behind a daughter with special needs and was her primary caretaker after wife passed away year ago. The woman doesnt have a home and lost both of her parents. Family members are asking for help if they could do nate basic necessities they would appreciate that. We have the link at 6abc. Com.
