Above, a woman views the pieces featured in their yearâs Youth in Art exhibit at the Bonifas Arts Center in Escanaba. The annual show is smaller than in years past, primarily due to the lack of in-person instruction at participating schools. Still, the exhibit features about 360 pieces by students from across the area. An online awards presentation will take place March 15 and be posted on the Bonifasâ website, www.bonifasarts.org. Also shown above are a sampling of the birds colored by area children as part of a community art project with support provided by Art Bridges through a grant.
