Devon & Cornwall Police today launched a campaign to raise awareness around domestic abuse and the emotional and psychological impact of controlling and coercive behaviour.
POLICE have urged residents to be on their guard after a suspicious man claiming to be an Amazon courier visited a house in Dursley this week. The man called at a house in Bull Pitch, Dursley on Tuesday at 2.45pm, claiming to be a courier for the online shopping site. PCSO Mark Lifton said, in a Neighbourhood Alert: The householder requested that the male produce identification, however when this was produced the identification didn’t look genuine. Because of this the householder became very suspicious. The driver then asked the householder if they could clarify some details with them. He asked the resident where his ‘safe place’ for parcels was and the resident refused to give any further details.
