Police: 14-year-old on bicycle dies following Medford crash
Medford Police said that a 14-year-old on a bicycle collided with a Jeep in an east Medford neighborhood on Monday.

MEDFORD, Ore. The Medford Police Department says that a 14-year-old boy has died after a collision with a driver in an east Medford neighborhood on Monday.
Emergency crews responded to the intersection of Sterling Point Drive and McQuire Way around 7:45 p.m. on Monday evening for reports of a crash involving a vehicle and bicycle.
Medical teams tended to the 14-year-old bicyclist at the scene before he was taken to Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital, MPD said.

Coronavirus in Oregon: 751 new cases, 3 deaths as infections drop

The Oregon Health Authority on Saturday reported three COVID-19 deaths and 751 new cases.
The new figures were announced as businesses continue scrambling to figure out their policies around face coverings after the Oregon Health Authority followed federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidance in recommending that masks were no longer necessary in most public settings.
Cases of the virus, meanwhile, have been trending down since a late-April peak.
Vaccines: Oregon reported 42,051 newly administered doses, which includes 26,502 Friday and the remainder from previous days.
