Want to add a new member to your family and make a positive impact on the Dunwoody community at the same time? Perhaps it s the right time to adopt a pet! Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, facilities have dogs, cats and other kinds of pets ready and waiting to be adopted.
Across Georgia, there are thousands of dogs, cats and other animals of all ages, sizes and breeds without a home and many of them are located within driving distance. In the search for a lovable new fur child, consider beginning at a local animal shelter like Atlanta Humane Society, where Scamp the cat is waiting patiently. If you aren t sure if you have time to take care of a pet year round, many shelters also offer opportunities to foster pets until they are placed in appropriate homes.
