What a difference a year makes! 2020 started off with such promise but soon turned into a dumpster fire.
Speaking of fires, wildfires have raged in Australia, California, Oregon and the Amazon rainforest. And, the man who loves to say, “You’re fired!” has had 91% turnover of senior White House officials.
Speaking of widespread disaster, COVID-19 has pervaded our world. There are almost 80 million coronavirus cases worldwide and nearly 20 million in the U.S.; we’re approaching two million deaths globally and about 330,000 domestically. Yet, we are closing out the year by finally starting to vaccinate brave healthcare workers, first responders, and the most vulnerable. January was aptly named for Janus, the Roman god of beginnings and endings.
