PRESENTATION: The cheque was handed over virtually A SOMERSET hospice which provides care for those with a life-limiting illness has received a cash boost. The Maximus Foundation UK has awarded St Margaret’s Hospice a grant of £2,500 to continue providing care for patients at bases in Taunton and Yeovil. The hospice, based in Bishop s Hull, Taunton, offers both inpatient and community care as well as bereavement support and advice for families. The donation forms part of the Foundation’s dedicated fundraising to help local charities nationwide affected by the Covid-19 crisis. The grant was awarded via a virtual cheque presentation by a Maximus Foundation trustee.

Maximus Foundation UK has provided Mahdlo Youth Zone with a grant of £2,500 to continue providing activities and experiences for disadvantaged young people.
The charity, based in Oldham, offers a range of activities, including sports, arts and personal development, with the aim of raising aspirations and supporting young people to fulfil their potential.
The donation forms a part of the Foundation’s dedicated fundraising to help local charities nationwide affected by the COVID-19 crisis, which totalled £95,000 in 2020.
Grant beneficiaries are selected from nominations made by Maximus UK employees.
