CHEERS . to all those behind creation of a temporary Cuyahoga County diversion center for nonviolent suspects needing addiction or mental health treatment as an alternative to jail. Cuyahoga County Council recently approved a two-year, $9.2 million contract with the county’s Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services Board to run the 50-bed facility at a building on East 55th Street owned by Oriana House.
