St Cloud Lawmaker Honored

Dan Wolgamott s Office (KNSI) – A St. Cloud lawmaker has been honored for his work creating economic opportunities in greater Minnesota. State Representative Dan Wolgamott was recognized as a Legislator of Distinction for Economic Development by the Coalition of Greater Minnesota Cities. The colation cited Wolgamott’s work on funding Business Development Public Infrastructure (BDPI) Grants. Wolgamott supported the Greater St. Cloud Development Corporation to help them assist in recovering from the pandemic. Wolgamott was the chief author of legislation that invested $3.5 million in the BDPI grant program, which helps cities in Greater Minnesota pay for public infrastructure to expand economic growth, retain or create jobs, or increase the local tax base.

Drought moves DNR to recommend water restrictions for more than 500 Minnesota cities
