TRS working president and Minister K.T. Rama Rao warned the BJP leaders against making “irresponsible” comments on Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and asserted that the ruling party can give a befitting reply to all the charges raised by the BJP.
Speaking to reporters in Warangal on Monday after launching several developmental works, Mr. Rama Rao launched a broadside against the BJP leaders and its leadership for not fulfilling the promises it made ahead of elections. Instead, the BJP leaders are indulging in “cheap politics” by criticising the TRS president, he said.

Officials told to ensure success of visit of Minister
Municipal Administration and Industries Minister K.T. Rama Rao will participate in a spree of welfare and developmental programmes in Warangal on April 12.
The Minister is slated to lay foundation stones for various developmental works and attend other functions during his visit. Ministers E. Dayakar Rao and Satyavati Rathod held a review meeting with senior officials for arrangements that should be made in connection with Mr. Rama Rao’s visit.

WARANGAL: The Kakatiya Urban Development Authority (KUDA) is in the process of developing several junctions in the tri-cities of Warangal, Hanamkonda and Kazipet under the Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation (GWMC) limits. As many as 14 junctions have been identified for the beautification project, which is being taken up at an estimated cost of Rs 2 crore.

Hyderabad: Elections to seven urban local bodies (ULBs) are likely to be held after Nagarjuna Sagar bypolls.
The polls to Greater Warangal and Khammam municipal corporations, Siddipet, Jadcherla, Nakrekal, Atchampet and Kothur municipalities might be held in the second week of May and special officers are likely to be appointed, according to the
Deccan Chronicle.
The term of elected bodies Kothur term expired on October 29, 2020, Nakrekal term expired on December 15, 2020, Greater Warangal municipal corporation, Khammam municipal corporation and Atchampet municipality expired on March 14 and Siddipet term to be end on April 15, 2021.
