Shah asserted that there will be no more agitations in the State and infiltration will be a thing of the past in the next five years if the BJP is voted in power.

Guwahati (Assam) [India], March 15 (ANI): Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday attacked the Congress for its alliance with All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) for Assam assembly polls, saying those who talk about Assam ki Asmita have Badruddin Ajmal in their lap .
Shah, who was addressing a Guwahati city district committee meeting, said there should be a nationalist government in Assam that works not for just the state but for the entire northeast.

Days after adding two more parties to its Mahajot or grand alliance, a new minority-based party has made the Congress and ally All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) lose sleep in a few constituencies.
Some AIUDF leaders have formed a party with a similar name Assam United Democratic Front (AUDF). They have put up two candidates in central Assam and are likely to field a few more in western Assam.
Central Assam constituencies go to the polls on April 1 and those in western Assam in the third and final phase on April 6.
The AIUDF chief alleged that the BJP was attempting to polarise the Hindus by pointing at him, invoking the ‘Mughals’ and portraying the Muslims as enemies
