Amazon India on Wednesday formally launched Amazon Academy as its edu-tech venture in the country. The new offering, which is essentially the rebranding of the JEE Ready app that debuted in December 2019, is currently designed for engineering college aspirants preparing for the IIT-JEE and other engineering entrance exams. It is touted to offer curated learning material alongside live lectures and assessments in Math, Physics, and Chemistry. Media reports suggest that the Indian subsidiary of Amazon has been piloting Amazon Academy in the country for a few months.

BENGALURU: E-commerce giant Amazon has forayed into the booming edtech sector with the launch of Amazon Academy an online test preparation platform for JEE and other engineering aspirants. The online preparation offering will equip students with in-depth knowledge and practice routines through curated learning material, live lectures and comprehensive assessments in subjects like math, physics and chemistry. The beta version of Amazon Academy will be available free of cost on the web and the Google Play store, the company said.

New Delhi: Amazon India on Wednesday launched Amazon Academy to help students preparing for the JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) for entrance to engineering colleges.
Amazon said that all learning material and exam content has been developed by expert faculty from across the country. In addition to the JEE, those preparing for BITSAT, VITEEE, SRMJEEE, and MET exams will also benefit from the content. The content is currently available for free and will continue to be for the next few months.
Amazon said that the online preparation offering will equip students with in-depth knowledge and practice routines required for the JEE, through curated learning material, live lectures and comprehensive assessments in Math, Physics and Chemistry. Amazon Academy will offer a range of JEE preparatory resources like mock tests, 15,000 questions with hints and detailed step-by-step solutions for practice.
