An under the radar edge rusher that could be a middle round gem

The Baltimore Ravens perimeter pass rush is an area that the front office needs to address with the departure of Matthew Judon, Yannick Ngakoue, and Jihad Ward in free agency. While reinforcements could come in the form of a veteran signing, that likely won’t come until after it would no longer impact the compensatory pick formula.
This year’s class of incoming edge rushers lacks a clear alpha but is filled with a plethora of betas with alpha or at least steady difference-making potential. The Ravens have been linked to several edge defenders with their first and second-round picks but they could still find talent at the position later on day two or early on day three.

Justin Henderson’s path to the NFL Draft featured a handful of twists and turns, but he’s still about to reach his destination.
After a great career at Lake Wales High School, Henderson took his talents to Coffeyville Community College. It wasn’t necessarily his first choice, but he took advantage of the opportunity and played his way to an offer from Louisiana Tech.

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. For the second time in four days, WVU has received a verbal commitment from a transfer from a Conference USA school. Old Dominion point guard Malik Curry announced on social media that he will join the Mountaineers.

The Atlanta Falcons are sending a 2022 seventh-round pick to the Buffalo Bills for tight end Lee Smith, according to a report.
ESPN s Adam Schefter first reported the deal late Tuesday night.
Smith, who is 6-foot-6 and 265 pounds, has played 10 seasons in the NFL, six of them with the Bills. The other four were with the Oakland Raiders, from 2015-18. Smith has 64 catches for 458 yards and 10 touchdowns over his career.

During Smith s first go-round with the Bills (2011-14), he appeared in 56 games and made 18 starts. He had 20 catches for 144 yards and three touchdowns.
