A married teacher accused of having outdoor sex with a 15-year-old student claims she couldn t have carried out the offence because of her busy lifestyle, a court heard today.
Kandice Barber, 35, from Wendover, Buckinghamshire, allegedly had sex with the teenager in a field when she worked as a school cover supervisor in October 2018.
Barber, who is being tried for the second time after her first trial was unable to reach a verdict, denies three charges of sexual activity with a child.
She today told Amersham Law Courts that it would have been impossible for her to have engaged in a secret affair with the boy due to her busy lifestyle.
Barber, from Wendover, Bucks, was previously convicted of sending the same pupil a topless picture of herself and a video of her on a bed surrounded by sex toys.

A married teacher performed a sex act on a 15-year-old boy on the driveway of the home she shared with her husband, a court heard today.
Kandice Barber, 35, from Wendover, Bucks, also posed naked on her bed as the pupil took photos of her, the jury was told.
The boy told school friends he had slept with the mother-of-three and showed them the bed photo as well as a shower selfie, it is alleged.
The court also heard that had kissed the boy victim on the steps of the school gym during a busy lunch break, prompting him to rush back to his friends and say I just kissed Ms Barber!
