(Bloomberg) When the annual Conservative Political Action Conference kicks off Thursday night, a highlight of the Republican Party’s calendar, some regular faces won’t be in attendance as former President Donald Trump cements his grip on the party.
Instead, the conference will welcome Trump for a keynote speech and the lineup is packed with loyalists and former administration officials. Dissent is not allowed this year.
Here’s a look at some who are not attending, either by CPAC’s choice or their own:

Republican politicians, media personalities and activists are gathering this weekend in Florida for the annual Conservative Political Action Conference, an event that could offer an early window into the party’s 2024 presidential contest while also amplifying false claims that the 2020 election was stolen.
Former President Donald Trump will be the star of the show in Orlando, delivering a Sunday afternoon speech one in which he is expected to continue to falsely claim that the presidential election was stolen that will mark his first public comments since leaving the White House.
