Indiana lawmakers are putting the finishing touches on a two-year budget and, as part of that ongoing negotiation, have stripped out a 50-cent-per-pack cigarette tax increase.

Rick Scott last week joined with a bipartisan group of Senators filing legislation to make daylight saving time permanent. âThe call to end the antiquated practice of clock changing is gaining momentum throughout the nation,â Rubio said. âStudies have shown many benefits of a year-round daylight saving time, which is why the Florida legislature voted to make it permanent in 2018.â
