Blue Bridge Traffic Gonna Be Jacked Up For a Few Days

Blue Bridge Traffic Gonna Be Jacked Up For a Few Days I think most of us tend to take our Tri-Cities bridges for granted until there s an accident or a lane closure. Then we really feel the pain of getting from one side of the river to the other. If you usually travel from Kennewick to Pasco over the blue bridge (that s northbound for those of us that are direction challenged), roadwork will be taking place from 9:00 a.m. To 3:00 p.m. today through Thursday. That means one northbound lane across the bridge and the Columbia drive northbound ramp to the bridge will be closed during those hours. At least it s not a full closure, it s only one lane. And it s not during peak drivetime hours either. Oh, who am I kidding? It s gonna be slow to go during those hours.

Most of Binghamton s New $10M Parking Garage Closed For Repairs

The top four levels of the recently-opened city-owned parking facility in downtown Binghamton have been off-limits to users while repair operations are underway. The six-floor $10 million garage at Hawley and Washington Streets has been in operation for about five months. A sign at the entrance advises users that parking is not available above the second level due to repairs. Adjustments have been made to the drainage system in the new Hawley Street parking garage. There apparently are no structural problems reported in the new 304-space garage, which opened on January 11.

Patriotic Education Is A Facade For Censorship

The truth can be a hard pill to swallow, but avoiding it always leads to a far worse fate. According to a report from our news partners at KWTX, Bell County educators gathered outside of the County courthouse to protest the passage of House Bill 3979. Educators explained that it is their job to teach “accurate and honest history.” Opponents of the bill were equipped with signs that read #TeachTruth and Let the Sunshine in! . Get our free mobile app House Bill 3979 seeks to warp our perception of history by not allowing educators to analyze how racism has impacted politics, culture and society in the United States  - AKA critical race theory (CRT).

Hit-And-Run Driver in NOLA Allegedly Returns To Torch Vehicle

A crazy hit-and-run in New Orleans ended with a vehicle being set on fire and the whole thing was caught on camera. According to WWL-TV, the incident took place in the 2500 block of Dumaine Street in New Orleans Tremé neighborhood. A white truck is seen crashing into the back of a black SUV that was parked on the street. After slamming into the back of the vehicle, the driver of the white truck is seen fleeing on foot. Video surveillance from a nearby Ring camera caught the entire bizarre scene on tape. Hours later, the alleged driver of the white truck returns to the scene of the crash and sets the truck on fire before running away for a second time. The New Orleans Fire Department confirms they were able to put out the fire without any injuries reported.
