PETA Takes Aim at Keeler Show Over Skunk Paintball Comment
The People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) reached out with a friendly message to WIBX s Keeler Show after someone reported a conversation that occurred this week.
It all started when a caller named Paul decided to announce on-air that he was giving away a paint ball gun. John from Bridgewater called in and said he would take the gun, because he wanted to get rid of some skunks that had made a home out of his backyard.
John said he wanted to shoot the skunk with a paintball gun to get rid of the odiferous wildlife family. Interestingly, Paul heard the comment and said because of John s intentions, he was not willing to give him the gun and the comment was made that PETA would be very bothered by John s intentions.

COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic for Kids in Grand Junction
For a while now we have known that the COVID-19 vaccine is available for anyone who wants the vaccine but now kids are able to receive the shot if they choose. Both COVID testing and the vaccines are available if you want more details you can visit the Mesa County Public Health website here. According to KREX, all people over the age of 12 can now receive a COVID-19 vaccine if they wish.
The first event of its kind was held earlier this week at Central High School hosted by Marillac Health inviting not only students from Central but anyone in the community who wants the vaccine. The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine has been approved under emergency use for all kids 12 and up, so that is what was administered at the vaccine event earlier this week.
