Tennessee through a new $2 billion housing equity fund, it announced Wednesday.
Amazon s Housing Equity Fund will provide below-market loans and grants to housing partners, public agencies, and minority-led organizations, it said.
The housing will be targeted at households making between 30% and 80% of the area s median income, it added.
The housing units will be located in three regions where Amazon has headquarters: Washington State s Puget Sound region; Arlington, Virginia; and
Nashville, Tennessee.

These are the three communities where the company has or expects to have at least 5,000 employees each in the coming years.
