TAWAU: Students and teachers involved in the start of the school session beginning Wednesday are advised to always comply with the Standard of Operating Procedures (SOP) set by the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) in order to curb the spread of Covid-19, thus avoiding a new cluster from schools.

Head of Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department Sabah contingent, SAC Datuk Ahmad Fadzillah Mohamed, hoped the students and teachers would always wear face mask, wash hands and practise social distancing.
“We urge all students and teachers can implement their respective responsibilities as best they can.
KENINGAU: Assistant Minister of Works, Datuk Robert Tawik (pic) who was discharged from the Covid-19 treatment center here asked the people of this district to comply with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) set by the government, especially the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) and the National Security Council (MKN).

“I ask the people in this district, including in the state, to always abide by the government’s instructions during the Movement Control Order (MCO) which has been in effect since January 13,” he said after leaving the Treatment Center at the Keningau Sports Complex, here, Sunday.
He said the people should always be at home if there is no need for going outside and comply with the instructions set by the government during the MCO.

MOH said the headline is inaccurate and confusing.
The fake news notification was issued by the Ministry of Communications and Multimedia Malaysia (KKMM) Quick Response Team at 12.45pm Friday.

In this regard, MOH advises the public to refer to the official MOH social media on Facebook (Ministry Of Health Malaysia), Twitter (KKMPutrajaya) and Instagram (Ministry of Health Malaysia) to obtain authentic information.
