Mongolia, Cuba sign MoU on cooperation in health care
AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Health of Mongolia and Ambassador of Cuba Raul Delgado Concepcionsigned a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Health of Mongolia and the Ministry of Public Health of Cuba.
Under the MoU, the sides will cooperate in efforts to support health, communicable and non-communicable disease control and prevention, medical, pharmaceutical and biotechnological research, and primary health care, Montsame reports.
During the signing ceremony, Minister S.Enkhbold said the development and achievements of health care and medical sciences in Cuba are well known to the people of Mongolia and that health professionals who studied in dentistry in Cuba have been leading in their field. The Minister also outlined the actions the government of Mongolia is taking against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Cuba reports 69 new Covid-19 cases
Havana, Dec 14 (Prensa Latina) The Ministry of Public Health of Cuba reported today 69 new Covid-19 cases, and the number of infections on the island rose to 9,942.
To detect Covid-19, 9,887 samples were tested, so the country has so far conducted 1,261,754 tests, the update of the Ministry indicated.
Of the total of cases, 30 were contacts of confirmed cases; 37 were infected abroad; and the place of infection of the other two is unknown.
Cuba records now 869 Covid-19 patients, 861 of whom have a stable clinical evolution, while eight of them are in intensive care in serious condition.
