Cuba and Norway reaffirm interest in boosting relations
Havana, May 31 (Prensa Latina) Representatives from Cuba and Norway on Monday reaffirmed their interest in boosting bilateral relations in a virtual meeting between deputy foreign ministers. Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister Anayansi Rodriguez and the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway, Jens Frolich Holte, stressed in official talks the importance of fostering political and economic ties.
According to a press release from the Cuban Foreign Ministry, both representatives highlighted the positive ties in the cultural area and the cooperation projects for mutual benefit and for the sake of other States.

GENEVA (3 March 2021) – Two UN human rights bodies in
charge of addressing the issue of enforced disappearances
are holding a webinar today to share experiences and
highlight why it is so crucial that States ratify the
International Convention for the Protection of all Persons
from Enforced Disappearances.
During the webinar, the
Committee
on Enforced Disappearances (CED), the Working
Group on Enforced or Involuntary Disappearances (WGEID),
joined by the International Coalition against Enforced
Disappearances (ICAED), and supported by the Geneva Human
Rights Platform of the Geneva Academy, will promote the
importance of universal ratification of the
Convention.
