Oregon reports 3 COVID-19 related deaths, 388 new cases; lowest case count in nearly a month
PORTLAND, Ore. (KTVZ) There are three new COVID-19 related deaths in Oregon, raising the state’s death toll to 2,533, the Oregon Health Authority reported Monday.
Oregon Health Authority reported 388 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19 as of 12:01 a.m. Monday, bringing the state total to 191,774. That is the lowest daily case count reported by OHA since April 12, when 294 cases were reported around the state.
Vaccinations in Oregon
OHA reported Monday that 28,659 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of this total, 22,263 doses were administered on Sunday and 6,396 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Sunday.

The number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 326, which is eight more than yesterday. There are 78 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit (ICU) beds, which is two more than yesterday.
The total number of COVID-19 positive patient bed-days in the most recent seven days is 2,300, which is a 2.3% decrease from the previous seven days. The peak daily number of beds occupied by COVID-19 positive patients in the most recent seven days is 345.

Lane County reported 50 confirmed or presumptive COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, bringing the countywide case count to 12,921, according to Lane County Public Health. The death toll remained at 146.
There were 251 people considered infectious, down from Monday s 258.
Sixteen people were hospitalized Tuesday, down three from Monday, with eight in intensive care, up one from Monday, and two on a ventilator, down one from Monday.
