Ronnie O’Sullivan fears that his defence of the World Snooker Championship could be derailed by catching Covid-19 after he was “harassed” by a “boozed up” snooker fan before his first round win on Saturday.
The defending champion was having a meal between sessions of his 10-4 victory against Mark Joyce when he was approached, and says that he will now try to keep away from any busy public place during the tournament.
