Fire extinguished before officers’ arrival. 2:54 p.m. Postmaster at the Turners Falls Post Office on Avenue A advising someone found a “bag of powder” outside the Post Office, brought it in and left it on a counter. Chief Christopher Williams retrieved the item. 7:22 p.m. Trooper Michael Leslie requests an officer assist him with an aggressive dog at the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office Regional Dog Shelter on Sandy Lane. Officer Cody Wells advised.
