ALEXANDRIA, Minn. When people think about COVID-19, the physical aspects are what tend to stick out most: fever, body aches, loss of smell and taste, cough, shortness of breath and other problems.
But for Jon Haaven, 87, of Alexandria, Minn., it was the mental aspect that nearly killed him.

MINNEAPOLIS Justin R. Lessman, general manager and co-owner of Jackson-based Livewire Printing Co. and publisher of the Jackson County Pilot, the Lakefield Standard and the Livewire, is the new president of the Minnesota Newspaper Association.
Lessman was elected president at the organization’s annual meeting on Thursday, Feb. 11.
