Canada’s hindered attempts to secure a steady flow of vaccines from abroad continue to trickle down to the local level with the Hastings Prince Edward Public Health announcing Thursday some planned immunization clinics have been cancelled due to a shortage of vaccines.
The health unit assured regional residents who have to rebook they will still be eligible for vaccinations in rescheduled clinics.

“Unfortunately, due to unanticipated shortages in local vaccine supply resulting from reallocation to hot spots and supply chain delays, the following HPEPH community vaccination clinics are unable to take place [at] April 26 (Belleville and Trenton), April 29 (Picton), and April 30 (Belleville),” the local health unit said in a public advisory.
