Ontario County as COVID surges: What you need to know

· Diarrhea Public Health helps people who test positive, adding that given the current caseload (despite hiring more nurses and using volunteers) there may be a delay.  You must take the following steps if you have symptoms or have tested positive: 1. STAY HOME: Isolate in one room of your home. Plan on isolating for 10 days after symptoms started (or positive test if no symptoms). 2. CREATE A CONTACT LIST: Who have you had face-to-face contact with, without a mask, for more than 10 minutes or with a mask for more than 60 minutes? The list should go back 48 hours BEFORE the symptoms or the positive test if no symptoms. These contacts need to quarantine for 14 days after the exposure.
