As per usual, speculation into the driver’s personal situation and alternative punishment suggestions started popping up in the Twitter comments. It’s a fun game, and presumably one the police want us to play why else would they Tweet this out if not to coax sarcastic responses from judgemental members of the press and public?
Many assumed it was a lead-footed teenage or early-twenties driver of the family vehicle behind the wheel.
