and the limited amount of vaccine available,
Otter Tail County Public Health continues to prioritize all eligible groups in phase 1A to be offered the vaccine at this time.
Coordination is occurring with local health care partners to administer the COVID-19 vaccine as quickly as possible to prioritized groups, said a news release from Otter Tail County.
Health care providers were given the green light Thursday by state health leaders to begin the vaccination of people 65 and older against the coronavirus.
On Friday, Jan. 15, Minnesota reported an additional 1,640 COVID-19 cases, totaling 443,562 for the entire pandemic, and 33 additional deaths, totaling 5,850 for the entire pandemic. Becker County reported 10 new cases, including 56 active infections, totaling 2,805 cases since the pandemic began.
